Not gonna lie when I yanked the backpack idea from Geass. Just figured it'd be a nice placement for it cause' I was getting annoyed at putting functional cockpits into chests.
On the other hand, any competent backstabber that goes after you in your giant robot has probably planned it out well enough that you're screwed anyways, and it's a hell of a better spot to try and eject from. Not like the backpack's in the way.
