Mechadyne Plated Frame by TurinuZ Mechadyne Plated Frame by TurinuZ
Another day, another completed Battle Frame! This is the Plated Light Frame, otherwise known as the PEZ-Mecha, as my friends have likened it to. The Plated Frame is an attempt to give a Light Frame, designed for speed and mobility, armor. The plates weigh down on the frame and reduce these aspects. However, it receives superior sensor capability when linked with ranged weapons and can even forcibly purged certain parts of its armor as a close range, point-blank attack. So it's not too bad a trade-off.

Pictured with a Sniper Rifle (Which I need to make the mounts more swively... since they don't swivel. At all) and the Standard Light Shield. It doesn't just dispense PEZ, it also dispenses enemies from afar!

The bipod up-front is the biggest issue by a distance as great as the range of the rifle. I would invest in a few more polygon and skinny down the bipod a LOT, as a heavy bipod at that position will make the rifle unbalanced and throw off the pilot's aim. Furthermore, most bipods consist of a right-angle pivot mounted on a metal bracket, with the legs sometimes having adjustable telescoping struts, but most of the time, it's just two light pieces of metal or composites.

Oh, I know. I just kind of rushed out the gun in disregard to how a bipod actually works. I was pressed for time and had to head out to work sooner than I'd thought, so kinda threw it on their as a gimmick till' I could get back to it...

... which probably won't be until I start working on all the weapons sans mecha for Frame Crash. But yeah, it'll definitely be fixed the next time I upload anything pertaining to it.
