Description

I realize I haven't posted anything really new in awhile!

Awhile back someone suggested I should try more than just mecha that are similar to mobile suits. So I decided to redo the Desert Blossom mecha in this vein (Didn't want to just randomly design a new mecha with no story behind it!). This was actually made awhile back but I never actually got around to posting it. This is the reboot of the Sin model in the most basic configuration; the M501 Sin. There will be further variations of this model such as the Advanced Sin, Prototype Sin, Bunker Sin and Medic Sin as was with the other Desert Blossom redesigns. This particular unit has been built with easy modular configuration in mind (You can think of it as a sort of prototype model for the Exceed in terms of how armor attaches to the frame). This allows me to more easily create variations for it.

For those who do not know what the Sin is (the majority of you, I don't think I ever really went into detail on the science and technology of the Desert Blossom universe), it is a mecha that utilizes anti-gravity as a supplier of energy and for movement. This allows it to move unhindered by gravity, similar to flight. As such it's legs aren't really meant for walking; they're more or less flight stabilizers and glorified landing gear (as well as a potential platform for weapons). Why is it a mecha and not some fancy anti-gravity craft that technically wouldn't need arms and legs? Cause' cool factor. I also used the same ACS unit on the back as the previous Desert Blossom redesigns.

I also put a little guy in there for size comparison! The M501 Sin is probably my smallest mecha yet, excluding the MT-TPL-N1 Pursuit.
