Daeg Hagal Original Type by TurinuZ Daeg Hagal Original Type by TurinuZ
This is the base mobile suit for many different variations, known as the Daeg Hagal. It was originally a remake of an older, crappier design I made a long time ago called the Red Feng, though it has long since evolved into its own.

Its only pair of weapons are the beam sabers on its backpack, and it lacks things such as atmospheric flight. It does however sport a more realistic (Okay, realism in Gundam doesn't exist) version of the Mobile Trace system of G-Gundam cockpits, known as the Muscular Tracer System.

It was originally designed to test a more flexible and mobile type of combat frame in conjunction with the cockpit, and from there expanded into one of the most powerful mobile suits of the war, despite the fact it kept on getting blown up and upgraded a number of times, :P

This is a Franken designed by me and thus not an original, from-scratch creation, though it includes some original tweaks to the design. Arts used belong to their original creators and not me.

As far as realism goes, the only one that's really on any sense of realism would be Gundam 08th MS Team...And it is about as real as it can really get, considering entertainment.

Great work! The colour scheme is really striking, and i really like the intricacy of the design. Plus, respect to you for being able to draw mecha; it's not really my genre, but i have tried in the past (and failed!), so i'm aware of how difficult it is to get it looking nice.

This is actually a franken, so I didn't draw it, merely pieced it together. All arts used in its design belong to their respective owners. Think of it as a collage.
